What’s included in the price?
Do I need to participate in all activities?
Absolutely not, all activities are optional and you are able to choose how much and how little you participate. Remember this is your holiday, we will however encourage everyone to participate as much as possible in order to make the most of their time.
I am nervous about coming alone on the trip, will there be other people like me?
Don’t worry many of our guests come alone! The group is small and intimate and the environment is tailored for interaction, you will be surrounded by people who share the same interests and we are very confident you will leave with new friends.
I’m a beginner and not as sporty as others.
Our guests come in all shapes, sizes, fitness ability and age. We make sure that our activities can be tailored to your specific needs. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where guests feel no judgement, stress or competition making everyone feel comfortable to try new things, overcome fears and achieve goals.
I have special dietary requirements, is that a problem?
Not at all, we will send you a form via email to complete before arrival so we can make necessary adjustments to suit you.
I don’t know what to bring?
We will send you a ‘Kit List’ of recommended items to bring once the booking is confirmed
Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
All guests must provide their own travel insurance which allows for water sports, hiking and all fitness activities. We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance for inconveniences that are not related to the retreat such as lost luggage, flight delays etc. If you choose to decline travel insurance you will need to sign a form stating that you take full financial responsibility for any expenses incurred as a result.
I’m finding it hard to book flights and transfers, can you help?
We are more than happy to help you with organising transportation to and from the chalet. Please contact us directly otherwise please see below.
Comparison websites such as Skyscanner.net are the best for indirect or direct flights and getting the best deal. For guests travelling all major UK airports fly to Geneva and a variety of airlines such as Easyjet, British Airways, Swiss, Jet2 and Flybe.
Our recommended airport is Geneva. We are conveniently located 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Geneva airport and central train station. There are various transportation options to choose from and we happy to organise these for you.
Private transfer prices start from €180 one way
Shared transfer prices start from €20pp. The transportation company will pick you up from Geneva airport and drop you directly to Chalet Sapphire. Please note there could be up to a 90-minute wait at the airport.
Car rental prices are approximately €40 per day.
Once you have made transport arrangements please let us know so we can make necessary arrangements for your arrival.
